COLLABORATION BETWEEN THE POLICE AND THE COMMUNITY IN CREATING COMMUNITY SECURITY IN KARANG PILANG DISTRICT, SURABAYA CITY

This research is one of the studies regarding how the police collaborate with the community in creating security and order in the environment which is carried out by the Karang Pilang Police in carrying out security and public order development. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method by describing the current state of the subject and object of research based on the facts that have been collected. This research also uses data collection techniques by direct observation and interviews with the Karang Pilang police station. The results of this research show that using communication and community participation in collaborating to create security and order can create success in collaboration and can create a safe and orderly environment. The data analysis technique in this research uses data analysis based on Widyarto's thoughts on collaboration. This research aims to determine the success of police collaboration with the community in creating security and order in the Karang Pilang sub-district environment.
