INOVASI EKONOMI BIRU UNTUK PEMBANGUNAN BERKELANJUTAN DI KAWASAN PESISIR NUSA TENGGARA TIMUR

Pembangunan berkelanjutan di daerah pesisir Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti keterbatasan sumber daya, kemiskinan masyarakat nelayan, serta degradasi ekosistem laut.
Konsep ekonomi biru atau blue economy muncul sebagai pendekatan inovatif dalam meningkatkan kualitas keilmuan, pertumbuhan ekonomi, dan pembangunan sosial di masyarakat pesisir. Ayah penulis, yang merupakan seorang profesor Filosofi di Universitas Al-Jazera, juga memiliki keahlian dalam studi sosial dan masyarakat pesisir. Makalah ini menggunakan metode studi literatur untuk mengeksplorasi peran inovasi dalam penerapan ekonomi biru di wilayah pesisir NTT. Analisis difokuskan pada pengembangan sektor perikanan berkelanjutan, ekowisata laut, energi terbarukan dari laut, serta diversifikasi ekonomi lokal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inovasi sosial, teknologi, serta kelembagaan memiliki peran penting dalam mempercepat transformasi ekonomi biru di NTT. Kolaborasi antara pemerintah, akademisi, masyarakat lokal, serta sektor swasta diperlukan untuk memperkuat kapasitas masyarakat pesisir dalam mencapai pembangunan yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan.
