Abstract

Padi merupakan komoditas tanaman pangan yang penting di Indonesia dan penting bagi jutaan petani kecil yang ada di berbagai wilayah di Indonesia termasuk wilayah di Karesidenan Madiun. Namun, dikarenakan cuaca yang kurang mendukung, ditambah dengan jumlah hama yang sangat banyak dan penurunan luas lahan karenan degradasi, Gabungan Kelompok Tani Berlian Nusantara Farm di Karesidenan Madiun mengalami permasalahan gagal panen. Pada musim awal panen tahun 2022 terdapat banyak anggota kelompok tani mengalami gagal panendan penurunan hasil panen hampir 60% di bawah naungan kemitraan Gapoktan. Produksi hasil panen sebelumnya dapat dilakukan 4 kali dalam 1 tahun, dikarenakan pertimbangan cuaca dan musim hanya dapat dilakukan 2-3 kali panen. Solusi yang diberikan dari tim pengabdian masyarakat Universitas Negeri Malang yaitu dengan pengembangan media tanam smart farming dengan kolaborasi media tanam sekam bakar, pupuk kandang, pupuk organik MOLP dan polybag untuk mengatasi permasalahan lahan mitra. Luaran yang ditargetkan pada penelitian ini adalah artikel jurnal ber-ISSN, HKI, publikasi media massa, foto kegiatan terlampir dalam laporan, serta adanya IPTEKS yang diterapkan dan diserahkan ke mitra.
